AFM, I'm still flat out refusing to buy maternity clothing. (even though I am clearly showing now) I will wait till I am a little bigger. Girly has offered to loan me her yummy mummy band, so hoping that will tie me over for the next month, then it will be nice and warm and no need for jeans. my mom did buy my a maternity top, which I wore for the shoot yesterday. Pretty pink thing.

Ah Lucy Im sooo happy that your hubby was so fantastic to apologise for being unfair and nasty. Good for him for standing up to his mistakes.. not many men can do that Im so happy for you guys and now you can relax again and just enjoy life!!

Meags, that feeling you just explained is exactly right!! Thats how I felt it too.. the hard high feeling early mornings and then nothing like it later on! Must be your full bladder pushing up your baby Thats also how I felt him move, lying on my back and put my hand on the hard part I coudl feel him move around.

My tummy is still not well... and I took a huuuge nap while my darling little boy played so sweetly in the room with his cars He only once got on the bed to dig around in my clothes until he found my belly-button which he now calls piepie lol!! It has started pushing out and makes a pointy bit that must to him resemle his little willy

Meags - You DH is a pain. It would hardly be the exact word for love. It is probably a derivative from an old form of french. I think it is on gurgle.com
Oh I also haven't felt anything again. Was at a family reunion this weekend with lots of (french) mammas (that is just for your DH!!) and they didn't think it was too soon to start feeling something. I think some people don't analyse like us and pass it off as other things! I believe it was baba !

Kimika - Yes our LB will be Sebastien (the french spelling!!)

Tazzy - I look forward to the squirmy feeling next. Yippee

Emsmom - Grrrrrr, darn MIL!! Sure it will turn out great though. Good luck for tomorrrow.

AFM - Had a good chat to DH on sat morning before going for the reunion. He gave me the floor to let him know exactly what I was feeling and why I thought he was being unfair etc etc. He then said that he wants to apologise because he has failed me! He said he had no right to write off a good marriage because he was not feeling good about 1 thing and that he was wrong not to have faith in me to work it out with him.
So to cut a long story short we have patched it up. We have an action plan to go forward that we are both happy with and he "gave up" smoking again since friday! Let's hope that part lasts!
I just want to thank you wonderful ladies for helping me get through a very difficult time. You were so supportive and made it so much easier and a far less lonely road. Truly thank you. I hope we both learn from this and move forward together and become stronger. I have my old DH back!

I am working tomorrow and Tuesday so will only be active again on Wednesday.

Lucy - perhaps since you are so skinny you're feeling movements early?? how exciting!!!! I still havent felt anything since Wednesday

I asked DH about the name Amia and he says it's definitely made up. He says love in french is Aime and that is that...haha

We have decided definitely Matthieu for a boy and since DH got to decide that, I am pushing for Abigail over Olivia for a girl. He is not convinced...

Otherwise not much news really. My uterus is very bulky and hard in the mornings right up to my belly button and then throughout the day it must sink into my pelvis and it becomes a lot smaller and not as hard. very interesting!!

I'm 12 weeks!! Whoo Hoo!! Going for my 12 week scan tomorrow, so looking forward to that. Taking the grandparents - asked them all weeks ago and have been reminding since - along with putting it in their calander - and of course today my MIL has forgotten...

The photo shoot was fun, she looked like crap, but anyways. I'm looking forward to seeing the photos and will only use the pics of her where it is just head and sholders.

Was such a lovely day today, we braai'd I think I got a little sunburned, but anyways.

After I came home and had a nap, and DH is preparing this new recipe I found, will post it if it is any good. Pea and Mint fritters. Nice and summery

Kimika, and other ladies, one thing I've found to be a life saver with being tired it the herbalife, thermojectic herbal tea. Its basically an energy booster and seriously helps. It is PG safe as well
