Hi everyone,

Wow, it has been quite in here :( Where is everyone? Why is everyone so busy?

I have been struggling since yesterday with my internet. Don't know what DH does to the internet :( And then to put oil to a fire, he messed around on my computer, so it does not work well. I am very big on that, we each have our OWN computer, so leave mine ALONE!!!!! :( :( :(

Anyway, now I am on his (cause magically his internet works) and he has a reeeaaaally horrible keyboard. I am used to the nice flat keys of a laptop, not this junk with huge gaping holes inbetween...

So.......

Kimika, I practically live on babycentre. Also get their weekly mails.

Was your gynae and dietician today? How did it go?

Emsmom - I am also having the carbs problem, but funny, bread makes it worst. My GP does not want me to take any tablets at all, so I am suffering through it. Although today I feel really gaga.

Karen, my SIL had her baby at UNITAS in Centurion, I was not really impressed as they are very strick there, and full of nonsense, but SIL was happy. I will get her docs name if you want. It is a woman who is very nice accordig to SIL.

I am going to PTA east. They apparently have the best neonatal care there.

Emsmom - I am so sorry to hear that about Girly! Oh thats horrible. A friend of ours baby had a heart op at 6 months. She had 3 holes in her heart. And she came out the other side perfect! WIll pray for them.

I am going for my first bikini wax tomorrow morning  I normally do the shave or veet thing myself, but seen as I am meeting my new gynae on Tuesday I thought I wont to look my best down there  I hope it is not too eina, and weird.

So, we leaving Wednesday for the sea, the weather that side looks crappy and I am fed up of winter clothes... I am too bloated for any of my shorts, cossi does not even cover my nipples, don't know what I am going to travel in, as jeans also tight over bloated tummy, and I want to be comfy for our marathon drive.

We normally manage the drive in about 15 hours, but now that I need to pee so often, we will have to stop at every place.

Do you guys also have to pee so much? I cant wait longer than 2 hours without being uncomfortable :(

Kimika - PMA is prescribed Medical Benifit. By law, anybody on any medical aid must have pregnancy covered. It does not matter what plan you are on with discovery - they MUST cover it! Just make sure that when you apply for your pregnancy to be a PMB that you fill in the correct forms and when you contact them, "remind" them that it is THE LAW that it must be covered Make sure you fill in the out patient PMB form.

email them on:

clinicalhelp@discovery.co.za

When you email ask for the forms and when you submit them write something like below: the are NOT allowed to decline you, but take chances!

I would like to please register my pregnancy as a PMB under codes Z34.8/52N which is for medical management and which is in accordance with the Medical Schemes Act.

Good luck with that! I emailed them yesterday and got the forms. My gynae needs to fill them in on my first visit in 3 weeks and then i will submit them.

Hope no dramas!!

EmsMom, I got some Vomifene. I took it almost 3 hours ago, had a 2 hour nap and still feel awful.
When I got home I also had terrible diarrhoea.
I have only had about 100ml of water today :( I just cant keep anything down :(
I hope tomorrow I will feel better!
Really didnt think I'd get MS :(

EmsMom - I am so sorry for the loss of a family friend. I can imagine the shock is so much greater when you have just seen the person. Hugs!
Thanks for giving us updates on Girly! I hope all will continue to be well.
I also hope the scratches are something innocent like the wooden slide!

Meags - Sorry you were sick at work. Did you feel better afterwards? I keep wishing that maybe I would be sick so that I would feel better but I am not sure MS works like that. Yesterday I had a good day and only a few waves of nausea .... it is back today!

Kimika - Good luck for the dietician. When is your scan, today or tomorrow? Porridge brain bites!

Meemo - Tazzy and I are from KZN
