Breastfeeding pillow
UIF forms (nice to have a little plastic file/folder for all your forms, birth certificate/cards etc
Take flip flops you can shower in and then pop in plastic bag when done
Snacky foods - hosp food is shite.

Do you need anything for the birth - music, candles, ipod, books, games/cards to keep mind busy?

i packed light so i left the bag with clothes for home and baby going home bag in the car. Ask hubby to bring it with the morning i was discharged.

The hospital provide linen protectors so keep yours for home.
I only use disposable panties for my hospital stay >was more comfortable.

Girly, cheap normal panties worked better for me, the disposables are itchy and didnt fit well. I just bought a pack of dark panties at pep and trew them away when done...

Someone once suggested an energade bottle to wash down there when going to the loo filled with salt water.

Don't forget elastics to tie your hair. I landed up with a sock in my hair!

You will need more than 1 towel.

Don't forget your face cream, toothbrush & toothpaste and body lotion :-)
