Nothing better Elaine that holding your little one while they sleep! B is just so active and I hardly ever get actual cuddles as he is always on the go. I just love it when he falls asleep in my arms - my only real cuddle time which hardly ever happens!!!

Jojo, I had the same thing with Ashlee last night, she also woke up at about 4. I couldnt' understand why, and then I felt she was wet. Had to change all her clothes, and it's quite cool at the moment so sure she was quite uncomfortable.

And then she fell asleep in the bed with me, which she NEVER does, she usually wants to play. So I stayed awake just holding that sleepy baby body. It was great, but I'm quite tired now.

So sweet Elaine when they try and figure out how their little feet work. When B holds onto me and walks he keeps stopping and looking down at his feet, waits a bit after a little ponder and then off he goes again!

In the wee hours of this morning I heard B shouting as if he was totally peed off. Firstly it is so weird for him to actually wake up during the night and if he does he normally 'chats' or cries. I went into his room and there he was standing up in his cot actually shouting, he was so angry (rather freaky as he did remind me of Chucky in the dark LOL). Anyway I picked him up and his nappy had leaked so he was wet, poor little thing was so mad that his precious sleep had been disturbed!

Juno, just enjoy this time where you can put Liam down, and know where he will be when you come back.

Jojo I'm sure he will be walking soon. He just needs that confidence.

Ashlee is still pulling herself up to stand holding onto furniture, or me, but she doesn't want me to hold her hands and let her walk. I tried on the weekend, but those little feet are still not sure what they are doing. It's too cute though.

I really thought my LO would be walking soon but he seems to be a bit lazy and all he wants to do it hold onto my finger and walk with me. I hardly support him but he is just not brave enough to let go. I sometimes wish we had carpets now for the walking but sure when potty training starts I will be super glad out home is tiled!!!

02jojo@ i had given amara until 14mths because he just didnt show any interest. funny though that today he keeps on standing and loosing his balance and standing again and wants everyone in the house to clap for him over and over again.
