When I was pregnant I looked around and found a photographer whose work I liked and who could do sessions at the price I needed.

At the time I really did not have the money to pay for the photosessions, so I set up that I paid her R500.00 per month until the fee was paid. I set up a pregnancy session, a newborn session, and a family session when my baby was over 6 months with the final being when she was 1 year.

I guarantee this is one of the best investments I have made. By now I have totally forgotten the costs, it is so minor now when I look back, and what I have is a great record of photographs that I will cherish.

If there is any way you can squeeze a little out of your budget - and even if you think you look hideous, book to go and have photos done, it is something you will look back and say "I am so thrilled I did that!!"
