Sorry forgot to say leave out the cocoa hence increasing the flour a bit :-)

Jems I don't, but I did make one once with this recipe by using (I think - I didn't write it down) melted butter instead of oil and increasing the flour by about 80ml. It was also really good and moist. You could also add a little more vanilla.

Do you have a nice recipe for a vanilla cake?

This is the best chocolate cake ever. It's really dark and moist and there is never any left. And it's so easy to make too.

300ml Flour
120ml Cocoa
2tsp Baking powder
2,5ml Salt
200ml Castor sugar
300ml Milk
2 Eggs
225ml Sunflower oil
5ml Vanilla essence

Pre-heat oven to 180 'C and grease and line a deep 20cm cake tin. Seperate eggs and beat whites until stiff. Set aside. Sift and mix all dry ingredients together. Mix all wet ingredients and egg yolks together and beat into the dry ingredients. Fold in the egg whites. Pour into the tin and bake for 1hr to 1hr 10mins (until a skewer comes out clean). When completely cooled, cut in half horizontally and ice.
Note: the batter is very runny, so if you're using a loose bottomed tin and don't want the hassle of lining with baking paper, wrap a bit of foil around the bottom of the tin because some batter will ooze out.
