I am guessing you are talking about bread dough?

I know at Pick n Pay if you go to the bakery section, you can ask the assistant behind the counter for 1kg bread dough (which is about R9) and its all ready mixed and to be used.

I made Vetkoek with curried mince or
* Add 1-2 tins of corn into some dough and popped it into a bread loaf tin and baked for 1 hour.
* Roll out some dough and wrapped in cheese griller sausages and either oven bake or fry

Another nice thing. I took cheese grillers and wrapped in bacon on the braai

Because i work long hours and get home late. I am always looking for quick, healthy and easy meals to make for hubby and I. I will try set a post of some quick, healthy and easy meals to make

I just made lovely wholewheat Basicl Pesto Chicken Tortilla's.

Stir-fried chicken strips with crushed garlic. Added Miracle Whip and Danish Feta and Basil Pesto.

Added a few lettuce leaves and voila!

Easy and YUMMY!

Roll the dough out and top it with cheese, chopped bacon, garlic, onion, peppers, herbs etc (what ever you like). Roll it up, put it on a baking tray and bake it in the oven until golden and cooked. (180C). Its also very nice with Spinach, feta, cheese and onion.

You can also take the recipe LizaP gave and mix some marmite (to taste) in with the cream and sprinkle some cheese on top.

Its all very yummy!!

With the puff pastry I like rolling it flat, smearing tomato puree all over, then add basil leave and moz cheese. Roll up and bake for 20min. Slice like a swiss roll.

Lizep you just reminded me of this one:

Cut dough into long strips and roll like chelsea buns.
Place next to each other in a rectangular oven dish.
Allow the dough to rise(as in extend) (?).
Prepare one packet of potatoe bake and pour over the dough.
Bake until done at 180C. (approx. 1 hour, just check it)
This is lovely with braaivleis!

I have a great recipe for sweet bread. Ideal with a braai:
- Spinkle base of oven proof casserole dish (with lid) with brown sugar.
- shape bread dough into little balls
- place on top of sugar into dish
- pour 250 ml cream over
- sprinkle with brown sugar again
- cover with lid & bake at 180C (covered) for 30 min
- take lid of and bake another 30 mins
