Sleepless nights

O, yes, I presume there is no right time to start taking away the night bottle?

Hi, I do still give his bottle at night because I am scared that maybe he is hungry or thirsty. He eats very little at supper time and we do keep the routine the same at night. Get home, bath him, feed him supper and then a little playtime and then his bottle and of to bed.

I also thought that (kies tande) is wisdom teeth , but he is defenitely busy with his (kies tande), there is one appearing. He already has his front teeth. He started teething at 2 months.

I am considering taking away the night bottle, by giving less and less and eventually replacing it with water. Is that a good way to start?

I'm confused then. Isn't wisdom teeth the adult teeth that they normally cut out?

It could be from the teething that he is restless at night. I know when Kyle is teething, we struggle with him to sleep at night.

We have the same bedtime routine every night. Get home, have supper, bath and about 30 minutes playtime and then its off to bed. If we change his routine in anyway, he does tend to get restless at night.
He no longer gets a night time bottle and he sleeps through now.

Joli, it could be possible that the wisdom teeth are coming out. Kyle already has his. He got them around his 1st birthday. He only needs 2 more teeth and then he would have all his baby teeth already

Manda - do you still feed him during the night? Both my girls woke up at night to drink / feed until I stopped the night bottle. They will keep waking up for a bottle as long as you are offering it.

You must have meant molars as wisdom teeth will only appear at around 18 - 23 years

Maybe someone can help me here. My little one is 12 months old now. Since birth he never slept through. At the beginning it was for feeds but now it is as if there is something bothering him causing him to be restless at nights. I have watched him to see if it is for comfort feeds or his dummy, but I can see it is not really for that.

I have though that it could be because of the teething pains, because he is busy with his wisdom teeth. And they say it is quite painfull when they start with those teeth. Otherwise I don't know why he is so restless.

All I know is that I need to get some sleep. Is there any mommies experiencing the same problem?
