Thanks Barbara for the website! This is EXACTLY what I am currently using! My Mom was given it and I used when LG was born and then she said I must keep it! I would love to get another one, because I am due in Jan and LO will be in our room for the first weeks/months and it is such a nice light to have on. We thought it had been bought at a market or something, and my mom is not in touch with the person who gave it to her! You have made my day to have the contact details!!!

Everyone else, this light really is great! I never realised the healing properties it has either! I cant say my LO is the perfect sleeper, she is far from it, but her health has been excellent (also for many other reasons too).

This salt light is wonderful! I wonder how much they cost?

Hi Jems
I use a lava lamp for my son's room. It is just perfect for him. His room is 'space theme' and I found a lava lamp which is shaped like a rocket! Perfect!!!

We have never used a night light for my kids but if I were to I would use a small one of those Salt Rock lamps - it gives off a lovely rosy glow without lighting the room up too much so the room is still dark enough to get a good nights rest but light enough that if they wake they are not scared.

Just by chance, I saw a plain white plug-in nightlight at GAME yesterday. I think it was branded Snookums but I could be wrong. You could also use a side-table light with a blue, low watt globe (put the lamp on the floor so the light does not shine down into the cot) or leave a passage/nearby light on.

Also looking for one... why does everything have to be branded with some Disney character? Arghhh!
