The advice from Julzdylan is solid.

I speak under correction, but I believe that it is recommended that toddlers still drink milk everyday, since it provides important nutrients. It doesn't have to be in a "milk bottle" it can be from a normal sippy cup or plastic cup. Otherwise encourage other dairy products, but I would recomend to try and get a lot of milk still in your LO's diet. Maybe incorporate it in a cheese sauce like macaroni or cheese or with veggies.

Hi

This is common. Kids love juice and if that is what they are used to then that is what they will want, but you can change it, if you don't mind a wee struggle.

You could start dilluting it each night until it is water. At this age they don't need a bottle at night anyway and going to bed with a juice bottle is going to destroy her teeth.

During the day offer water or very dilluted juice/tea in a sippy cup. You may want to try a few or a cup with a straw rather until she takes one. If she is thirsty she will drink!

good luck,.

My daughter is 21 months old and she recently stopped feeding on a formula. she just preferred to drink juice and rooibos instead. however, her juice and rooibos intake is very high in such a way that she refuses to drink water. she can't go to sleep without a bottle with juice. she doesn't want to use a feeding cup. how do we reduce her juice intake, or should we worry about it? she now sleeps in her own bedroom and the bed is always very wet as a result of her juice intake at night. she can't even sleep through the night most of the times because she wakes up to drink. what should we do?
