creche in Paarl

There are also other options like a Wellington Preparatory school situated on Diemersfontein winefarm which I will be sending Liam to in July - starting out with their playgroup twice a week. I mention that as you talk about Zian enjoying his space - and the surrounds are just totally awesome. Suspect this will also be to far for you though.

I'll pass on anything else I get. Just waiting for somebody else to get back to me - think she has a few more.

Glad to hear you're enjoying Paarl. Yes I was alos impressed with the friendliness of the people. Maybe it's got to do with all the wine - you don't want to know what the consumption is of the average Paarlite =)

If you have to get to Belville in rush hour I would agree that traffic is an absolute bitch. I doing most of my work in Tygervalley at the mo and am not restricted to office hours and it's a really short trip - 30 min. But then maybe I'm just so used to driving in and out of CT - though now avoid work in the city centre itself like the plague as I just loath that trip.

You mention you may be chaning jobs - to Paarl? Why did you move in the first place?

Previously I was in Jhb - Lonehill/Kyalami if you are familar with the areas. Though my family is originally from CT (more the South) so know it well. Everyone always wants to come out here so I haven't been that side for ages!

We're also surrounded by winefarms which I love - nothing like the smell of the harvest.

My biggest concern is the size of the classes & the playground.
Zian is currently in a class with only 6 kids. They have one teacher per class & then 2 helpers between the classes.
I've phoned a few places & it looks like the general amount is 10 kids in a class with a teacher & assistant, so that's still perfect
Then the playground.....zian is a very busy lil guy so he needs a good playground to get rid of all his energy!!!

The thing with creches for me is that when you go there it's always very nice & friendly..... The only way for me to really know if it's a good school is through other mommies
So I would really appreciate it if you can find out from fellow mommies where there kiddies are happy.

We are absolutely LOVING paarl!!!!
We stay out in Simondium between the wine farms, so live is so much more relaxed
Also love the friendlyness of the people in paarl & the culture!!!
My daughter is also in a girls school now, which se loves!!!!

Only thing I'm really disliking at this stage is the driving.....I work in bellville so need to get something closer to home soon.

Where did you stay before??

Lelani I'm in Wellington but obviously have a lot to do with Paarl seeing though it's just down the road and that's where all my doctors etc. are.

I know quite a few people with babies/toddlers in creche so let me get some recommendations for you. I know there are stax around - my baby is at home with nanny still so would not be able to recommend based on personal experience.

Any other info you would like let me know.

We moved to Paarl last year, but I still worked in Bellville so could keep him in his current creche, but I might be changing jobs soon, so need to find something closer to Paarl.
Do any of you know of a good creche in Paarl??
