My LO was bitten badly by mozzies about 3 weeks ago. It was weird, it happened in 2 nights. She had about 15 bites on both her arms together. I applied Anthisan cream and the bites went away a couple of days later. Then about a week and a half ago she started getting these raised bumps almost like pimples on her arms (very much like where the mozzies bit her).
I took her to our GP on monday and he said it is a type of wart (vraatjie) and prescribed a light cortisone cream. I don't think the DR was quite sure about his diagnosis, because he said if it is not gone in 2 weeks I should phone him.
I think somehow those mozzie bites got infected, is that possible?
