Crazylove pre-eclampsia is when your blood pressure is high and you have proteins in your urine. It then becomes eclampsia when you begin having fits and this leads to emergency c-section

I agree with marijke here. It could be carpal tunnel syndrome. It takes a few weeks for the fluid to lessen after a pregnancy and it is the retained fluid that causes carpal tunnel, well that along with repetetive motion. You may also find that it is from holding your lo as I had alot of problems from holding my new born. The had tends to be at an odd angle when feeding your lo.

CTS usually causes numbness and pain in your thumb, forefinger and middle finger and then obviously the wrist.

If it continues have it checked out.

Are you sure that it's because of the pre-eclampsia, it could be that you developed carpal tunnel syndrome in your wrist which is also very common during pregnancy. I remember my sister suffered with this and it got worse after her LG was born, she couldn't even pick up her LG without being in terrible pain.

You should really have it checked out if it influences your day to day activities
