I like using the Viralguard syrup, combined with tissue salts or the Sister Lillian remedies.

It is not always possible to keep your child at home when they have a cold/flu. I don't even want to imagine what my boss would say if I had to take 2/3 days leave every time my daughter got sick!

Thanks for the info Lonie. Will have a look.

The Olive Leaf Extract doesn't taste too good either :) I normally put a few drops in his dose of crecheguard cherry syrup or zinplex syrup.

FrankieS, I saw at the Homeopath the display promotion for the Olive leaf extract..How does it taste? I must say the Biostrath is disgusting in taste..YUK!

Vit D3 helps regulate the immune system and also helps with absorption of Calcium and Phosphorus..there are many benefits and the list is long.

Super Colostrum: Its bovine colostrum from cows and almost identical to human colostrum, you can go on the solal website and look into all the benefits..its great! Its a bit expensive, but one bottle will last about 3 months.

Herewith interesting article..

Thanks for the great tips! I normally use the Sterimar with my son, but I'm definitely getting some of the chamomile nasal spray. Would it be suitable to use on a 10 month old?

Lonie: I love love love the Echinaforce Junior tablets, my son loves them too! I have had very good results with a combination of Echinaforce, Olive Leaf Extract and Crecheguard. I am not familiar with the Vit D3 drops and the Super Colostrum - what is it used for?

I also give Omega oils - my son is a very picky eater and I'm not sure he gets everything he needs, but the freshly squeezed fruit and veg juice is always a great idea, because he loves his juice.

Will check out Boiron and Heel products, thanks!

I use a product called Chamiflor (ocean nasal spray). It contains chamomile and is really gentle without that sting that some saline sprays have.

That is the name I could not remember!!!

I spary Dylan's nose daily and if he has a cold, at least 3 times a day.

It is the only thing I do unless he has had a high fever for more than 4 days.

Mom of Dylan and Partner to Joerg. We live in the Beautiful Pringle Bay which is along the Whale coast, Cape.
