Ara, I think it's great for us as well.

and I am sure that one day if I should have a girl I will be able to use these tricks on her hair too.

Angie I think it is a great idea, I can maybe use the tips for my own hair ;) . We just cut Ethan's hair short although I like his curly wavy hair..

Lori that's why i asked someone for help

as I think that if the product is natural and had not chemicals it should be fine.

Once I have more info I will post it here.

I also just shaved Coles hair in the beginning of the year and now it's growing again and I would really like to maintain it.

Cole has a little "extra kroes" (sorry but I just could not think of a better word) patch at the back of his head which is such a struggle.

Hi Angelique
I also love Ethan's curls, but I must admit it becomes a pain when I try to grow it, so I just tend to shave it off. He also plays in the sand at school, and its so much easier to get sand out of a shaven head - especially as he hates washing his hair.
But with myself having curly hair - it does tend to get dry and moisturising is key - not sure at one point one can start using moisturiser on kids hair

SO ladies.....

My son has very curly hair and I would really like growing it but it tends to get a bit dry (espcially at the back).

Was thinking we could start a thread about maintaining naturally curly/kinky hair without having to revert to using harsh products or chemicals.

There is a really great page that a wonderful lady started on FB about maintaining natural hair and about products that can be used to help us.

I mailed her this morning about some tips and tricks that she can teach us.

And also we can share things that has worked on our kids as well?

So what do you ladies think about this. I think it's important especially for mothers with LG's to start something like this at a young age..

Let me know..
