Lovesick (almost) three year old

Argh man Ethan is in love

Its the first time I hear this happening to a soon-to-be 3 year old LoriF! Its sweet, I like it. Tell that girl to loosen up a bit, can't she see Ethan is in love with her

Men....................they start at an early age.

Ethan is lovestruck - at the tender age of 2!!! (he is almost 3 now) but he has been reacting like this for over a year now and I am at a loss for words. I really had no idea one could actually be lovesick at such a young age.
My 27 year old nephew is dating this really beautiful girl and whenever they come to visit Ethan just completely loses his marbles. He is besotted! He can't stand to look at her, hides his face and remains pratically immobile and clinging on to me the whole time. I sometimes feel like I should hire her just for her ability to keep him to sit still for long periods of time through her sheer presence:( . If she leaves the room he wants to know where she is, but hides his face the minute she comes back. I actually feel sorry for him because he clearly does not know how to deal with these feelings!!

Interestingly enough she does not really pay a lot of attention to him - I don't think she is much into kids. So maybe he likes girls that play hard to get

At any rate I was just wondering if my poor lamb is the only one that is lovestruck at this age
