Hi all,
At what age did you start a daily routine of teaching your child to clean up all toys lying around (even with a parent helping)?
what is a reasonable age to ask them to start helping with this daunting task?
Our living room looks like ToysRus puked on our carpet everyday, I don't have the energy to pick up everything everyday if she is just going to mess it all up again in the morning. I clean-up once a week for my own sanity.
When can they begin to understand that books stay in the bookshelf and not on the floor once you are done reading?
I am already starting to repeat slogans about cleaning up, but when can one start to expect them to start doing it by themselves (Please don't say never...)
I don't think at age 25 months it woud be fair to "take toys/books away" for not complying with the rules, hey?
sorry, this might seem like a really trivial question.
Thanks ladies!
