Guys I also remembered that the other problem is he tends to choke on water, he always has, esp when he has it out a cup

Ps. When did your child start SPEAKING?

Memo, she said a few one worders until about 18 months. I remember visiting a friend who's LG is a month older and she was babbling and copying everything, and my LG was just quiet! And then within that same month it all came at once! That was March, now in June, she is already doing some 3 or 4 word sentances! And she comes up with really clever stuff! With her, it just all came at once! But she only started crawling at 10 months and walking properly at 13/14 months. She has been at home with me, and although we arrange playdates, she doesnt have the interaction that LO's at creche get with other kids. But dont worry, it all comes eventually! Oh yes, one of her first 5 words was "fall" but it sounded like another dirty "f" word, LOL, I used to explain to everyone its not what they thought they were hearing! :woohoo:

Last year this time I was battling to get Sarah to drink water. Spring came and the weather was warmer and she started drinking water! I also added some juice in the beginning, and still she calls her water bottle, "juice".

She also likes to copy me, so I would always be drinking in front of her. She never liked any of the cups and went onto a plastic glass with straw. She now drinks from a sports bottle which is easier for going out - so dont throw away any of the "duds" you buy!

But I must say, now that its cold again this time of the year, she is asking for tea, and even for me to warm her tea, she says, "make it hot"!

James copies me, so whenever I drink he does too:)
That said I am so over the breastfeeding thing too..... I have to keep referring back to my baby book to remind myself that this continual feeding thing is just an age thing and that it too shall pass:(

Yeah thanks Yaz.. thats what Gloei is saying and I've actually been thinking about it.. Sounds good, or at least feasible.. I'm gonna try that today and I'll let you guys know, perhaps you all have cracked the case! This could be a major breakthrough..
