OK, here is my flying tips..
When taking off and landing, make sure he eats or drinks something (for the ears)
Take along some entertainment! Sticker's is always nice, and buy some at the crazy store and some paper for sticking..
I also take along few pens and (paper once again) for scribbles!

We also bought her a mobile dvd player..

Maybe also try some rescue remedy about half an hour before the flight?
That helped my son when we flew from Cape Town to Durbs.

Lol Yaz Dr T and the lollipop's. Dylan got two the last time. Thought he was in heaven. I think Dr T knew that he would need it when he went for blood tests.

Now whenever he goes into a reception or office of any kind he goes to the counter and asks for a lollipop.

Mom of Dylan and Partner to Joerg. We live in the Beautiful Pringle Bay which is along the Whale coast, Cape.

Bronz, Lilly's PAED actually brought me to the idea when giving her one after her 1 year check up - so I figured it must be clinically approved!? :P

Ja, you're right - bring on the Flings family pack!

Bronz, just give him something to maybe eat and his favorite teddy or toy.. I agree with Julz, its only the smaller babies that struggle. I flew alone to CPT last year with my 9 month old and my 4 year old and 9 month old was the one that I struggles with most. maybe just put some cotton wool in his ears.
When you check in, ask them for help if you need it. it isnt easy carrying your hand luggage, juggling baby, getting the other luggage and using the pram.
