18 Month vaccination

Not to worry, we were also late with our injections, and the nurse told me they just need to have them before they are 2 years old!

Hi all

I am taking my 21 month old for his 18 month injection tomorrow. It is late because he was sick pretty much all the way through Winter. So it has been set up and cancelled several times. My question is: is it still going to work if it is so late? I know it is a booster shot but was under the impression that booster shots had to be done on time. Anyone know?

Then he is due to go tomorrow but I noticed today his nose is running yet again. I am quite anxious to get the injections done as he is due to start in a little platgroup next week and want to ensure all his vacs are up to date. But obviously don't want him to get seriously sick. He does not have a temperature. Just a snotty nose. No coughing. He also suffers with environmental allergies so it could be his allergies playing up but not sure. Anyone know if it is still okay for him to have the injection?
