Swimming Lessons - JHB (EAST RAND)

Can you please give me more info on the swim school in Springs please? My daughter has just turned 1 and I want to send her to lessons, i am based in Springs as well.

Hi Monic. The swimming teacher at the Virgin Active Bedfordview is the best in the area. Both my girls are going there. The one for learning how to swim (she is 3) and the other one for coaching (she is 8). They are in different groups and with different teachers. You need to be a member of Virgin Active. You pay extra for the swimming lessons. It's a bit expensive but worth it. I've been to 3 different swimming schools so far and is very happy with them. You can call the gym and ask for Moira's number. She will access your child before allocating her to a teacher. We pay R420 per child, but I think you will pay a little bit more if it's only one child. 2 lessons per week. You will need to take her during the week in the afternoon (not sure if you can). Hope you come right.

check Aquatots website, I use the one in Alberton. Also some Virgin Active Club have Toddlers swimming instructors.

How far in the east rand are you willing to drive?

My son went to a lovely lady for 2 years and she has a warm water indoor pool. If I can remember, she charges R 150 or R 200 a month for once a week lessons.
