Washing hair

I battled with Graeme, then I tried showering him and he loves it. He would not let me wash his hair in the bath any more, but in the shower he wets it himself and I just lather him up and rinse. Have not had a problem as long as he has been showering.

Have you tried showering her before?

Thanks everyone! I'm still searching everywhere for one! I'll try get to Kids emporium this week or next, thats where I got the jug from, but sarah's still too young to hold her head back. I think its maybe just a "battle against my mommy" thing, because actually everything is a battle these days! LOL

we'll keep trying, else continue the "lets get it over as quick as possible" approach!

We bought that water jug which is shaped around their forhead.
The problem is that K doesnt allow me to tilt her head back to do it, she drops her head forwards and so we cannot use it.

If you are still looking for the hair shield/jug. I saw one at Clicks the other day.

They show on the pic how the water does not run into their little faces.

I have the same problem with Joshua! He use to love washing hair but now only Dh can wash his hair in the bath

Over the wekend I took him in the shower with me and we washed our hair But he's heavy, so can't hold him in the shower for long.

For now I just let DH wash his hair every night

I have the shield thing and it works great. It really does keep the water out of their faces, but they need to trust that and sit still, otherwise it won't work I have used it on Emily since she could sit up, so I did it before hair washing became an issue, so not sure if it would work with her since she is already afraid???
