I didnt take him to school today as he had a bad cough and didnt sleep well. Anyway he's been kicking his ball around today and that got me convinced, we doing Play ball

Clair bear: Its good to hear that it does make a diff as I thought ball skills came naturally as children play.

His creche is offering Monkeynasticks and Playball for his age group. He'll b 2 next month. Im also thinking of taking him for swim lessons....

I used to be a Swimrite coach (sister company of Playball)... a few of my friends are Playball coaches and they LOVE their jobs!

Im also a foundation phase teacher and I have to admit that one does notice a VAST difference in ball skills between a child that does playball and a child that doesnt. :)

My LG will definitely do playball in a couple years time! :)

FAITH MAKES THINGS POSSIBLE, NOT EASY!

I've just signed up my (almost) 2y old for music, playball and gymnastics at school. I think it really depends on your child. James loves climbing and plating with balls and really enjoyed the demos. I did music to matric and still play regularly so it is important to me that he has music in his life. I don't think he particularly enjoyed it though! Why don't you ask for a free trial to see if your child likes it?

He does swimming and Clamber Club outside of school too (yes we are broke).

Liam did Playball last year and absolutely loved it. It is really basic - well maybe as an adult it is basic - but it lays good foundations.

But this year he has moved to another school, so both he and his elder brother will be doing gymnastics, cricket / rugby and swimming
Oh Liam is 3 and Brandon 5
