hahaha, I know what you mean. It always feels like a never ending battle.

My legs also tend to hurt every once in a while but it can be so many things : standing too much, walking too much, RLS hehe, poor blood flow I know my aunt suffers with her legs as well but I just take Homeoforce Tissue Salts L (circulation combin) & it really helps. Maybe you can get that & try it. I completely forgot about it. How stupid of me.....

I read now that the dosage for infants are a quarter crushed, children - half a tablet under the tongue & adults - 1 tablet under tongue 3 times a day.

Thanks Momtoc I really hope its nothing serious, but we've done so many things and still her sleep is terrible! I personally just think she has early growing pains, but found the RLS interesting! There is very little treatment anyway for children.

I saw this article, interesting connection between iron and RLS. And I found the article interesting about the symptons. Of course, with most symptons, it always seems you fall into the category! LOL

MommyN, it is really a difficult one, especially with children.

I read an article now that said growing pains can cause RLS in adulthood
It also tends to run in the family.

I think it's best to discuss this with your GP or a paediatrician.

I am definitely going to do that as I know my daughter complains about it every week.

Really trying to find out and get to the bottom of whats bothering missy and upsetting her sleep.

Think she has started with growing pains, and while researching, came across Restless Legs Syndrome. I know Zola Budd is a great "ambassador" for the condition.

It seems very much related to an iron deficiancy - something we are battling with.

I think to fully diagnose Restless Leg Syndrome in a child is very difficult, and there is no major treatment, but was wondering if anyone has been down this path?
