Anyone ever have to treat sinusitus in a young child?? Em had a fever last week while we were on holiday, I took her to see a paed in DBN and he diagnosed Sinusitus, Tonsilitus and ear infection. He prescribed an antibiotic, aspelone and pain meds.
I gave her the aspelone for 4 days and she is still on the antibiotics. But this morning when she woke up she told me that her face is sore?? She is pointing to the area below her eyes, so I am thinking it is her sinus??
Does anyone know what I can use to treat that? If it persists, I will probably have to take her to our paed, but not keen on paying another R550 5 days later unless its really necessary. She is fine otherwise, just complained twice this morning that her face was sore.
