Bladder infection

Blompotjie, I must agree with gloeiwurmpie. My lg had a bladder infection before & the only way to treat it is with antibiotics. If untreated, it can cause kidney problems & you don't want that.

Pure cranberry is also very good in cleansing the bladder but that is something you can just give him often but you need antibiotics now to clear it up.

Bladder infection in children should not be treated by over the counter remedies.
My LG has had numerous bladder infections and antibiotics were prescribed every time.

I would urge you to take a urine sample to your GP/pead and get it tested and speak to him about treatment options!

Hi Ladies

My boy, now 3 years, has slight bladder infection and really do not want to waist money to go to the doctor when I know what is wrong. Do any of you have advise on what to give.

I have him drinking a lot of water as of today, but is there anything one can purchase at the pharmacy that they can use. Perhaps one of you ladies has used something on your little one that you are satisfied with.
