You are welcome! Yes, That must be the most creative site I have come across with activities with your children! We do almost 2 or 3 activities on that list per week and my 3 year old has loved everything so far!

We did the shaving cream painting with cheap a brand from dischem. It was so much fun!

Hope you have a super holiday!!

Hi Cherikey,

Oh, your holiday sounds great!! The last time we went to the coast the whether was misrable too!

I found this really cool website that has really "easy" but really creative ideas. There will be a few ideas with very basic ingredients that you would have to pack, like maybe straws, bicarbonate of soda, vingar, shaving cream, food colourants.

Check out the activity with the milk, dishwashing liquid, food colourants: it is magic!

Take craft glue and scissors, you will be able to make collages with leaves, twigs and other organic found objects.

the pretend cooking activity is also great, pack some dried beans, lentils, rice etc.
I have recently given my 3,5 year old a grater to start grating and she is doing really well! It keeps them busy for a while. He have only had on minor cut so far.

Here is my new favourite website:

www.playcreateexplore.com/p/activites-for-ages-1-3.html

ps: activities start from younger to older, scroll a bit down to 3 year old...However some of the younger activities (like the "clean mush") will also be fun!

Hi Ladies

We're off to Sodwana for a week next week... YAY! :woohoo:

However, if the weather is half as bad as it's been for the last 3 weeks then i need to be prepared. The plan is for my nearly 3 year old to spend our days on the beach & at the pool...

HOWEVER...

If it's miserable the two of us are stuck in a small cabin, any suggestions as to what i can take with to keep her occupied?

I'll do the obvious, some movies, books, puzzles, colouring in, etc... but what else can i take? I am 7 months preggie at the moment, so i need to take it easy as well & not get stressed out about her being bored.

While typing this i had an idea... I'm going to go get one of those bug thingy's from Mr P home so we can go for walks (even in the rain) and find bugs to collect & study...

Anyways, any other idea's & suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
