Teething or upset tummy remedies?

I'm also a huge fan of Smecta! Always works well for my LG.

BRAT-diet: bananas, rice, apples (grated) and dry toast.

probiotics (Reuteri) to help the gut flora recover.

Other than that, the most important thing to look out for is that she stays hydrated, but you mentioned she's eating and drinking as normal, so that's probably not an issue at the moment.

I'm not too sure what to offer food-wise, although it most likely is the teeth causing the problem if she seems otherwise fine. Rice does help to bind stools though so that might help.

But I did want to mention that smecta does not harden the stool at all.
It is an adherant which means that the bugs stick to it and come out with the poo. So it is actually best for getting the bugs out if there are any.

You could also try giving her probiotics. We buy the probiflora junior and my son eats them like they're sweeties lol.

My LG seems to be cutting her canines... and while she is not miserable at all. The gums are very blue. She also had an upset tummy for about 4 days now...

Other than the usual maries, apple/banana purity, toast, apple juice... what can I give her?

I was giving her smecta, but that just hardens the stool temporarily and I would rather get the bug out, if thats what it is?

What else could you recommend that works? Hubby suggested flat coke, but i dont see myself giving that to a 19month old.

Also while she wont drink tea (has never been fond of it) and will kinda drink her milk... HOWEVER if I give her a bottle filled with oros, she will down it all!

Any suggestions of what worked for you would be welcome.
