Sounds great - hey I remember how I felt like a cow at one stage whilst breastfeeding !! saw me developing spots like a real cow should :laugh:

Seriously though I would love something like this first time round - kids and having kids don't come with a manual!! I remember thinking "how should I bath this little thingy!! I'll drown it or break it it is so small!!!

Also remember thinking he would at least fit in 0-3 months given his weight before he was born but he drowned in the clothes I picked out for him :)

Brilliant idea.
I have a friend who has illustrated a few children's books.
I will pm her email address to you.

Basic things like manners, morals. Respect etc.

Local issues, like poverty and sharing and love for animals and nature (eco, green issues) and the ever important different but the same (race issues, religion, language and culture)

Hi everyone

We are in the process of developing a Moomie kiddy book range. What kind of books would you like to read with your approximate three year old regarding things they have to deal with every day? We want to keep it local, issues that South African toddlers deal with? It must be light-hearted and fun, humorous at times and cute.

I'm thinking in the line of a range of five books when you have another child. The emotions your first born goes through on how to deal with the new baby. Why baby cries, why baby drinks breastmilk etc? The first installment will be Afrikaans but it can be in both languages.

Also, do we have any illustrators here?
