Colour recognition

My daughter mastered naming colours between two and half and three, but yes, before that she could easily match colours in a Winnie the Pooh app I had on my iPhone.

I was worried about my son's colour recognition( he is 30 months now), but then I read a bit about it.
I liked the following which I read:
Colour recognition can actually be broken down into separate skills – matching, identifying, and naming.
I felt better after this, because my son definitely has the first step - matching - done and dusted. He is almost there with the
identifying, and slowly but surely making his way towards naming the colours.

Just something I thought I would like to share, because it really is something basic, but sometimes we as parents forget the little baby steps.
Such a small thing can set a parent's mind at ease.
