My lil one is 16months now... She used to cry and scream alot whilst still looking fast asleep and that was teething i assume... Now that the tooth has appeared she sleeps much better...

Hi ladies

Absolutely normal!

At around 1 years of age, they go through a developmental leap. This may cause their little brains to be busy working overtime and hence the wakefulness.

TanyaS, I also find when Neva wakes at 10pm it's game over! Or she'll wake completely at 2am. It's so frustrating!

I use about a cup but must say not every night.

Thank you Jana, good to know its normal :) My daughter has also started walking and I am sure she is about to get another tooth

I will definatly try the epsom salts, how much do you put in the water?

She eats at about 5, bath by 6 and then a bottle at 7. she then sleeps nicely till about 10 and then the trouble starts lol

She just rolls around in her cot and cries

TanyaS, my daughter turned one on 3 April and we went through EXACTLY the same thing last week! For about two weeks she has been so restless. I don't know why. I think reaching milestones do tend to keep them up at night. She started walking and also got two new teeth.

I bath her in epsom salts, she eats at 6pm, breastfeeds at 7pm and then sleeps. She also dropped her afternoon nap.
