Hi

We travel at least twice a year to the West Coast... and a DVD player in the car is a must! It keeps them entertained for hours, mainly because mine don't watch much TV so to sit for hours on end watching tv is a novel for them...

Also stop regularly to stretch their little legs... the chair can get quite uncomfy after a while...

Lots of snacks in the car too... and also lots of wipes, tissues and spare packets!

Oh and a huge bottle of baby powder... it works wonders for getting sand off before leaving the beach! Other than that I think you are covered. A beach tent is also a wonderful way to get them out of the sun if he doesn't want to wear a hat.

Married: September 2009 - 5 glorious years with my best friend!

First Darling Daughter: July 2010
Second Darling Daughter: January 2013

Thank you sugar-and-spice.

Seems then that I have covered all the bases then. Except I don't know how I am going to keep a hat on him since he doesn't like to wear it.

Hi Joanne23

Sunscreen and a hat is an absolute must. Even when the sun is not out, the rays can still be pretty harmful. I use the waterbabies sunscreen lotion and the milk spray. The spray is easy to use while they running in and out of water.

Snacks are essential, they can get pretty busy and that makes them quite hungry.
Toys for digging and pouring are great.

Always have one or two empty packets stuck in a bag somewhere. You never know when you need it for the dirty diapers, rubbish, or wet clothes. Extra clothes are essential (including a jacket).

Hope i've been of some help :)
