Nappy Rash of Allergic Reaction?

Just an update. Apparently LO is allergic to Zinc Oxide something that is found in many bum cream's.

Dr said the rash should clear up in a few days of using a cortisone based ointment.

I have replaced the bum cream with the one we used to use. So I'll see if this is the culprit.

Don't have an answer but wanted to post, Ive used huggies for my son with no problems and have used huggies for girls and pampers with my 4month old daughter. started using normal huggies this week and she has developed a nasty rash also just on the bum cheecks and I believe it is from the normal huggies

I have a question for the mommies on here. My son has recently developed a rash on his private parts. Just two patches on his inner thighs and then last night on his penis. It looks like nappy rash, but I am unsure as it is not his whole nappy area.

I am busy transferring him from Isomil to Nido and currently he is drinking two bottles of Isomil and one Nido. Could it be an allergic reaction to the Nido?

Unfortunately I also started using a new type of bum cream at the same time, so it could this as well.

My question is this: Have any of your Lo's using Nido experienced an allergic reaction like this? Or do you think is the bum cream that is the culprit?
