Prodol is for instant relief , the other thing that is a miracle worker , i found was vidol , teething powder, The back teeth are a real nightmare ,. so i gave little one the powder rubbed on gums and some stopayne

Is Prodol more effective than the teething powders?.... Thiyara is also teething at the mo but the powders not seem to be giving much relief as she still grinds her teeth.

Nurofen - strawberry flavour work, my sister in law is a paed and she said that is it very good , but don't give it unnecessarily.

Also prodol to rub on the gums .

Hi Poppie, 2 of Kyles oogtande are busy coming out at the moment. I tried Prodol and Panado but it never worked. Bought those Ashton & Parsons teething powders. Put on powder in his mouth, put prodol on his gums and gave Calpol before bed time. Worked wonders for me. Good Luck

I give my LG Nurofem (as it is an anti-inflamatory) when the pain is bad. Works well.

Thanx, I'll try the suppositories.

I use calpol and if the pain is really bad I give him a ponstan suppository at night which works for about 8 hours.

I also use prodol (sp) gel.
