Advice needed

Haar situasie is presies dieselfde as wat myne was aan die begin van die jaar. Dok het my gediagnoseer met PCOS en Glucophage (ook bekend as Metformin) voorgeskryf. Dit is gewoonlik eerste kanaal van behandeling en help om die sists weg te kry en jou natuurlik te laat ovuleer.

Ek het na 2 maande op die medikasie self begin ovuleer en vandag 7 maande later is al my siste weg en kon ek die Glucophage los. EN ek ovuleer nog steeds op my eie ELKE maand!!

So stel haar gerus. Dis nie 'n groot probleem nie en met die regte behandeling behoort dit sommer gougou opgelos te kan word. Soos Julz sê, sy het defnitief ouderdom aan haar kant!!

It sounds a bit like pcos but I am not sure if that is what the gynae has diagnosed.

There are ladies here who can help you but basically it can be managed with medication and treated so there is firstly treatment and secondly she has age on her side which is so important.

If she has no luck after a few months on the meds then maybe you should urge her to see a fertility specialist who is ideal when it comes to such issues.

My sil started ttc about 3 months ago. Before she went on the pil she had long cycles. Then she was on the pil for a while, but went off months before starting to ttc. Her last cycle was 33 days, before that 47 and before that about 36.

I convinced her to go to gyni, and she went today. And got a bit of bad news. It seems that her eggs are not releasing and then forming cysts. She is going for bloods on cd21, and the gyni is then putting her on mild meds. She is only 20y old.

Anyway, I know some of you have the same probs. Can you give me some advise or info? She is shattered and now thinks she might never have children. (They want 6- she is one of twins)

I told her to not stress too much, as there is meds, ect that can help her.
