IVF/ICSI

Angel, I think the protocol will be different depending on the situtation for everyone. The Lucrin and all the othe rinjections you will have is so that they basically take control over your reproductive system and that way the dr's will know exactly where/how things are happening for you, you will have to go for scans closer to your trigger shot (if you do one, which I think you might) so they can monitor the size of the follicles.

Im not sure about the temps, I didn't read into my temps, doing the injections was enough for me daily. Did you only take one shot of Lucrin??

Thanks for the link chris. congrats on your pg! I dont quite understand your IVF protocol. Guess i"ll understand more once my FS explains my protocol to me.

Took the lucrin depot and survived it! I hate needles.

I'm 6dpo today and my temps are higher than normal. Does anyone know if lucrin can increase your temps initially? Its only been few days since i took it. Took it on 3dpo.

Anybody been through IVF/ICSI or going through it currently?

I've just had my first appointment with my FS, and we are getting ready for our first ICSI cycle. I just had a hysteroscopy a few days ago.

FS is starting me off on the one month Lucrin depot injection for suppression on the 28th Sep, which is next week. Thereafter another lucrin depot injection on the 28th oct, together with all the other meds I think. So I assume stimultion, egg retrieval and transfer will happen in November. But will get all the details when i go in next week.

If you have been through this or are going through it, please share you procedures as well as experiences/side effects, etc. I'm new to all of this!
