As Julz says anything over 18mm is considered a good egg ready for ovulation.
The month before I conceived I had a scan the day before O and had a 23mm size egg!

Andy - i had 3 nice follies every time, they were about 18mm-23mm - i have heard that 20mm+ is ideal!

Hi Andy they should be about 18mm.

Hi ladies

I know some of you has gone for some kind of fertility treatment and a lot of you have gotten the Ovidrel or Pregnyl shot before.

What size is the follicle/egg suposed to be before they can give you the shot?

I usually (or mostly) ovulate on CD12 but it has been earlier, so I'll be going for the scan on CD10.
TTC since January 2009
