Hi Nonki - I recommended a friend of mine to Dr Atzl while she was trying to conceive.

She used him through her pregnancy and for the birth and was really happy with him.

I hope yours is all going well, and you and Dr A have a good relationship moving forward - I personally found him very good and I am very fond of him, he is just a nice man.

I'd go back to him without a moment's hesitation .....

Hey Julz i went to see Dr Atzl today and he is amazing, thank you for recomending him, im really happy with him. He took his time with me and answered all my questions. Im 22 weeks preggies now and everthing is going well.

Nonki Dr Atzl charges slightly more on the first visit. I think I had to pay in R80 a couple years back but all the other consults were covered by discovery. He is also very reasonable with the delivery charges.

His receptionist is not always the happiest person but Dr Atzl is always available to his patients and kind and on time!!!

It makes a lot of sense to go closer to home, thanks again .

Julz does Dr Atzl charge startard rates or bit expensive?

I was lucky because I live and work close by - but I would say go to the one close to home.
You'll be in labour more likely at home (it happens more in teh middle of the night!) and then when you start maternity leave you'll be home. Then town is a long drive if your labour comes on fast unless you have an abulance at hand it could get hairy if you had to drive in traffic
