Hello All!
Gosh, I would just like to say Hi [Wave]
My name is Candice, [Bow]
And I want to share my story...
I always wanted a child and to be married, ever since I can remember,
I finish Matric in 2000, and found the man of my dream in December 2000... We dated for 5 years before he proposed, got married in 2006, and was amped to fall pregnant as soon as possible!
By the end of 2007 we got divorced, our communication drifted and we lost the spark. It was traumatic! Especially, since I stopped taking the pill midway 2007, hoping a baby would bring us together.
February 2008 the divorce was official and my life was shattered! But I suppose that was the single life I was supposed to have after school?
Hmmm... Life changed completely for myself and my ex...
but some reason... in August 2008, we saw each other to pass on items that were left behind, and we both fell head over hill in love again.
By October 2008, we were dating again and December 2008 he moved back home. Since then really we've been trying to fill the empty space of a family. I went for an operation in 2009 for endometriosis and they found out due to a prior operation I had on my stomach I only had one ovary. The other was MIA...
The chances of having a child was slim... and to make it even more difficult, my DH[to be] works offshore... 2 months at home 2 months away... I worked it out that if ovulating was a major factor that it was, we only had something like 15 days a year to try fall preggies...
December 2009, he proposed again (Awe moment)
and by September 2010 I was on the verge of going insane! I wanted him to go for tests and he said, things will happen when they need to! We had arguments about AI, cause of timing, so I bought him tablets prescribed by our Gyn [for him StaminaGrow and SpermAid] , and I got some tablets for myself too. He was away, so he could only start taking his meds at the end of November. I started straight away with
Folic Acid
and
StaminaGrow
...
Moral of the story, I'm 6 weeks
I only found out on the 2nd of Jan... double

He kept on reassuring me that all will happen when it needs to... and I never enjoyed hearing those words, they started irritating me! I used to burst into tears whenever I heard a friend was preg. It made me angry, I was sure that something was stopping me, or I was too stressed at work, or something in my life needed to change.
What I did? Took prepping tablets {
Folic Acid
&
StaminaGrow
}, changed my diet [less take-outs] lost some weight, started
karate
which I plan to continue after the 1st Trimester has passed, and happy to say, I think it all helped.
Good Luck ladies, Never give up!
