Thank you - Yes, I am on metformin 1, 3 x a day, 500mg.
Been on clomid 6x.
We were heading towards an AI so gynae put me on gonal f injections. I responded to it, too well and my estrogen level were way too high, so I had to abort that immediately. After all of that, did he then put me on metformin, which I am still on now.
I have switched gynae's as both hubby and I eventually felt uncomfortable that he should have sent me for more E2 tests as he was increasing the dosage of the gonal f injections and monitored me closer. When I went for a 2nd opinion, that gynae explained why an AI would not be beneficial for me in my case.
But so far, sticking to the metoformin, checking my sugar regularly, keeping to my diet and work out.

what you feeling is so normal sweety-we all go through that. i also have pcos. has the dr put you on glucophage\metformin to treat the pcos? the normally prescribe that and clomid to force you to ovulate.

Hello ladies, I am new to this forum - so please bare with me.
I been TTC since 2009 with no success thus far
I have PCO's. I have done a laproscope but still irregular cycles. Gynae said, to loose weight, because of the insulin resistance associated with the PCO's. He has also put me on Provera for 6 months to help regulating my cycles. So far I have lost 6kg, by a strict diet and work outs. On my 4th round of Provera which I will be starting this week.
Some days really seem to be good and some I feel I am going no where with this.
