Hi Rhodine
My advice would be to try see your gynae a.s.a.p, you could maybe even ask the receptionist if you could just walk in and wait till he has seen all his patients.
Out of personal experience if your gut says it aint normal then it aint.
I started extreme bleeding mid November last year, saw my old gynae mid Decembre and he said its normal coz of the PCOS and after doing a scan i could see he saw something but he only came back with a script for Cyklo (which only made my problem worse). It got so bad i couldnt even use tampons and could only use night pads every half hour. The bleeding persisted and eventually i couldnt go to work. Jan 5th I saw a FS in Durban who examined me and said my previous gynae just did more harm than anything. Gave me tabs to stop bleeding and after 10 days i got a normal period.
I am so finicky now, if i have a problem i don't keep quiet until it is sorted.
Your mind will keep wondering until you finally get answers.
Goodluck girl hope you get sorted
