I did see the FS, he did the internal scan (not as bad as I thought it will be) - I will be going for the blood test to check if I did ovulate on the 22nd.

Counting down days. Thanks for all the support and responses. Now the 2ww starts! B)

You can go yourself, but I HIGHLY recomend seeing if your FS wants it done, and if he does,he will explain the results. Its not a great idea to do these tests without your doc's orders.
Only after doc had sent me a few times, and I fully inderstood the readings, which day is best to go etc did I go myself for my own peace of mind to know I was still ovulating.
Also,if you go through doc,med aid covers,go private you have to pay cash up front.
So stick to your FS for your POA...

If you have a 24 day cycle, and you have a 14 day leautal phase, it would mean you ovulate on about CD10 or 11. So if this is the case, then yes, they will see on the scan if you currently HAVE a follicle ready to produce an egg, or if you have just ovulated. The other way to tell will be the CD21 blood test. This is called CD21 as it should be done 7 days after ovulation...assuming ovulation is on or around CD14...

I am currently on day 2 of the second round of feromid (prescribed by GP)!
I am seeing a fertility specialist next week friday, I will be on day 11 of my cycle - will doc be able to see if I am ovulating or not? I have a 24 day cycle (changes btwn 24&26) and according to my calculations I will be ovulating but will doc be able to see it on scan?
