Thanks Suriya

And chanz makes sense, I will watch my diet.. im 6kilos overweight from my last pregnancy and keep hearing about pcos but not sure what it is...

What i can tell you is that this cycle was 28 days long, so alot better, and from taking temps daily, it looks like I ovulated :) so I will cncentrate on my diet and just see how it goes !

Hi Mandy B

It depends what your insulin result was? A normal range is between 1 and 10.

Have you got PCOS? Or at least checked for this because Insulin Resistance goes hand in hand with PCOS.

Insulin Resistance will definitely affect your fertility. But glucophage alone won't help you fall preg. YOu will need to make some diet changes. High protein, high fibre and healthy carbs. I know it sounds like mission impossible but it really helps. You see glucophage will only help your body use its own insulin, small diet changes will help your body cope.

A personal question, are you overweight or slightly chubby?

I have PCOS with Insulin Resistance. Was put on 500mg slow release glucophage. And then needed fertility treatment (injections and then IUI). Am currently pregnant.

So there is hope ;)
