My 1st MC I ended up having a d&c and was bleeding for 6 weeks very heavily, with my 2nd mc I had light bleeding... it was about 6 weeks n I got my af, so far my cycles have returned to normal...

With my 1st mc I wanted to try again straight away but only conceived 18 month later, its only been 4 months now since my 2nd mc and I'm actually petrified of conceiving and loosing another LO again, but so badly wanna have a LO...

Well as u can gather I've endured 2 MC, 1st one was at 25 weeks and the 2nd one was at 18 weeks...

Firstly I'm so sorry for your loss. Just know that your angel is up in heaven and he/she will never be forgotten & always be a part of you.

To answer your questions:

It depends whether it was a natural MC or whether you had a d&c which seems to clean things all out at once.

The return of a period is largely individual, as are the other questions you asked.

To answer from my perspective:

1st period returned 5 weeks after the d&c.
We were advised to allow our periods to return before trying again, although some gynae's advise 3 months to help emotional recovery as well, and others are okay with you starting before your period returns however makes it difficult to date a new pregnancy as no last period date to go by and therefore difficult to ensure all is going well. You need to allow yourself time for healing too, some people want to get right back at it while others decide to wait until they feel ready.

Yes ofcourse but honestly I just wanted to be pregnant again. The first time I conceived straight away so I thought it would happen like that, but it didnt as I just put so much pressure on hubby and so it took longer (5 months) and was a lot more stressful than I'd have liked. Only when I started relaxing about it did we conceive.

I only had one miscarriage. And now have a beautiful daughter who is 8 months old. I did however bleed with her which was very stressful, and the pregnancy was rather stressful because of the previous MC.
