Rho - when I saw this my first thread that fell out of my mouth is "is she insane?"
Then I tried to relook at it and then I thought "is she actually certifiably insane?"
Honey we love you lots, but you are really struggling with a ton of stuff right now, and adding a second baby to the equation is probably not the wisest decision.
I get that you are broody, I get that it can be very intoxicating to think about a pregnancy and the new baby, and how wonderful it is all going to be - I so get that!!
I really do.
But my love, you have so much, so very much that you are trying to survive right now!!
Have you read some of the threads lately about new moms and all the sh*t they are going through and how difficult and traumatic a new baby is??
I think reading a few of those should be mandatory for anyone who is thinking about a baby to remind us how difficult new babies are, and the hell most moms have to go through to survive the first year.
Allow yourself the time to sort out you, our head, your relationship, your relationship with your son, your finances, and who you are, and what makes you smile.
You have also just gone through some hectic stuff, you had some GYNE issues recently which you are still healing from - and really I am almost at a loss of whether this could be a worse possible time for you.
But, that being said, deciding to and and when to have a child is totally your decision (with input from Nico of course).
Please give it some real thought, and some real discussion about your situation and all the "stuff" that is going on, and whether this is a good idea right now.
And whether you have the resolve/the energy/the resources to cope with another child in what you have often described as a dark, bleak, lonely and horrible situation.
But as said, it is totally your decision.
And I know the right thing for me to do, is not to comment, and not say what I have said above in fear of being flamed - but I am going to fall back on the fact that you have shown an openness on this forum and an acceptance of honesty, and also have often put yourself out there and appreciated Moomies standing around you in support.
