Lollipop, i hope you caught the eggie ;)

If you check on my signature you will see fertilityfriend thingie, that is my chart ( outdated for this mth) its when you take your temperature every morning before you get out of bed or kiss DH hello, before ANYTHING :lol: but the prblem with charting is you only see O after it occured. But after few mths you see the pattern and get to know your body.

Thanks for the reply, I was to afraid to test again yesterday, because I afraid to face the fact that DH may again be away from home when I am ovulating, so taking the ostrich way.

According to the fertility calculator I was due to ovulate between the 1st and the 6th so at least he was here for a little while.

@TaNasha, what is charting?

Lollipop, good luck with your ttc journey, hope you get that bfp soon.

I usually tested after 5 in afternoons and never get a +, then i started testing about 12-1pm and normally i get a feint line 2/3 day before getting the dark line. I start testing on cd8 because normally i would O on cd12/13. I know there is only 4 test in a packet so sometimes i test 2x/day :lol: and had to go buy another packet. The feint line can mean the slow buildup of the LH or after O the LH could get less.

I hope it help, i can only tell about my experience.

The faint line could mean that you either already ovulated or that you still will. I never got a clear positive as the picture in the instructions show. But I could see the line getting darker every day and then fading again. But i have also heard of women getting faint lines all through their cycle.

Have you maybe thought of charting?

Hi Guys,

We have been TTC since Jan and to date nothing...so in desperation I have bought myself an ovulation test kit at clicks.

I have tried using the fertility calculators and such, but I wouldn't know when I was ovulating even if I got an invitation from my uterus, that and my cycle is never the same lenght so I have not been able to time it properly. (also the fact that DH keeps on going away on business is not exactly helping)

Anyway, so I bought this little test kit

I followed the instructions and the test result were negative, according to the pamphlet inclosed, but oddly there were two line, but the test line was very faint (hence they said negative).

Now my question is this: if there was a faint line and the test was negative (because it is supposed to tell you 24 to 48 hours before ovulation) does that mean that you already ovulated?
