I also read every second day is ideal. We are trying this method this month, aside from anything else it takes the pressure off trying to pinpoint O.

I was told every 2nd day during the month and every day for 4 days from when you get a positive LH surge.

Sorry I realise you are asking if that is enough. I am going to leave my previous post there but in answering your question, yes that is enough. Some say that there should be a couple days break to allow sperm to build up and others say that regular sex promotes new healthy sperm so every 2 or 3 days seems to satisfy both thoughts.

Yes every 2 or 3 days throughout the month is idea. This creates new sperm for the man and it covers all opportunity to catch the egg.

So many couples once on meds tend to stop making love throughout the month to concentrate on the "fertile time". Less than ideal.

I know that the first thing the fertility clinic asks is how often do you have sex. If you tell them a few times a month during ovulation they will very often ask you to go home make love more often and then see what happens.

Some have gone as far as to name this "method" which is insane. Basically a healthy sexual couple should enjoy sex throughout the month not just to make a baby.

I also find that men struggle so much when it comes to sex and baby making and tests and ovultaion. It really kills the romance for them (I speak from experience) which means that ofent the men really don't feel like making love knowing it is that time which can then waste a whole cycle.

Try to keep it as natural as possible. Let the meds do their job, but at the end of the day, love making is going to make your baby, not the meds.
