when will I definitely get a +ve hpt or blood test

Hi 1st timer. I wish you could have your good news soon hun!

My 1st pregnancy I was 3 days late and got a very positive result from my HPT.
Second pregnancy I tested very early, PM on 9DPO and got a very feint, barely there couldnt believe my eyes positive. I must've taken about 10 more tests over the course of the next week and was very anxious until AF was officially late cause of chemicals.

First pregnancy didnt make it.
2nd one, my LG is now 14months old. So each one is different.
I know Vix didnt get a BFP till 17dpo or something, and she now has twin boys!

1st Timer, I tested at 10 dpo and got a faint positive well outside of the time limit.
Unwilling to put myself through several HPT's in the following days, I marched straight off for blood test.
I went straight to Pathcare without a doctors referall and got my result 2 hours later.
The level was 35 (generally anything over 5 is considered Pg) at 10 dpo.

Thanks everyone. Called my gynae and she said to do blood test Friday early morning and they will get me the results before the weekend. Now just hoping af stays the hell away! Fxfx!

Holding thumbs for you 1st Timer, keep us posted, i think Friday morning would be fine for the blood test

My gynea said do blood test when 5 days late then the pregnancy hormone will be high enough not require an additional blood test in a day or two...

I would go Thursday late afternoon...

Hi ladies,

We are on our 3rd round of clomid and I am currently 14dpo. Af was due 12/13dpo so I am officially late. I had a faint bfp (outside of the testing time limit though) on 11dpo with fmu then a negative on 12dpo mid morning and another negative with fmu today (but I have a toddler that wakes at night so I did pee twice in the night... Sorry tmi). Anyway I am now completely over testing. So assuming af doesn't arrive (and I am trying to not get my hopes up), when can I go for bloods that will definitely be accurate? Friday? That's17dpo. Or should I wait til next week? I definitely ovulated - opk and gynae internal scan confirmed.
