How long did it take to fall pregnant after Depo

I was on Nur-Isterate - another type of BC injection. I had my last shot in April 2010, would've been due for the next one in July 2010 but never went. Got my BFP in May 2011 (almost a year after my last shot) but sadly ended in miscarriage. My cycles were irregular - only got my first AF in Jan 2011 and the next in March 2011 and then my BFP.

I believe it does take longer for your body to "work off" an injectable than it does the BCP.

I am so impatient & really want a baby badly, heard so many horror stories of females taking up to four years to conceive and having misscarriages after stopping depo.

With my first pregnancy I had been on depo for a few years, had my last shot Dec 2009. Was then due the next one march 2010, but never went for it.
I never took bcp or anything, just let nature take it's course - my periods returned in sept 2010. They were a bit wonky for about 3 months (ranging from 28 days to 35 etc), but I got pregnant on new year 2010. So I guess that means it was exactly a year since my last shot. But considering that injection would have still been working for 3 months, it was about 9 months since missing an injection that I got pregnant.

I have just joined today, I am 29years old and ttc, was on depo jab for many years and never went back for my shot June 2011, I took the bc pill in Sept 2011 to regulate my period, it worked within the 1st month then discontinued it. I got a regular period the month after that. I really want to have a baby but heard lots of females struggle to conceive after depo.

Any success stories??
