when is CD1? (lots of tmi)

Day one is considered day of full, red bleeding so brown spotting doesn't count. It is best to just confirm this with your doctor though.

Thanks Hayley. Yah I probably will phone her tomorrow. Just feel a bit of a twit. We have been trying medicated for a while now and did with my son too so it's not like this is my first rodeo. I should know when I have my period ffs!

Oi!!! This is a difficult one especially with the spotting there one day and then gone the next... CD1 is full red blood flow enough for a tampon or pad... So your situation is unpredictable...

I say phone your gynae in the morning. As this is a timed cycle for IUI you need to know, so it's not like you can wait it out a couple more days..

On 4dpo I started lightly spotting brown. This continued until 7dpo.
8dpo nothing.
9dpo I wiped and there was a fair but of brown/red but not enough for a pad or tampon. Since then I have on and off had a watery brown discharge only when I wipe. So still not enough for a pad.
Last night at 12dpo I wiped and it was watery red - so I thought great, that is CD1, tampon in etc but this morning only a small brown spot in it and today there has been nothing. I normally have an 11/12 day tops luteal phase.

I took a hpt on 10dpo and it was negative before anyone gets excited. I do usually spot for a day or two before af starts but this is getting ridiculous. I need to know my correct CD1 as I need to start femara on CD3. Do I just take CD1 as the day I wiped the red - I.e12dpo? Or just I wait a fews more days? I don't want to take the femara too early but I don't want to miss my chance either!

Anyone have this?
